Dark Angels/The Shadow Hunt Trailer
The haunting book trailer for Katherine Langrish’s acclaimed fantasy ‘Dark Angels’ (US title The Shadow Hunt’). www.katherinelangrish.co.uk Wolf is on the run, lost on a dark hillside said to be haunted by ghosts, demons and elves. There he meets heroic-seeming Lord Hugo, crusader and troubadour, out hunting with his men. But Hugo nurses a terrible grief — and when he and Wolf discover a mysterious, disfigured elf-child, Wolf’s feet are set on a path which will take him deep into the shadows. Katherine Langrish says “Some of the background to the making of this trailer: the story is set on and around the sinister, atmospheric Shropshire hill which I renamed ‘Devil’s Edge’, but is actually called ‘Stiperstones’. Bravo Katherine on this trailer.
I much prefer the UK cover for the book – but then I’m not American.

Wow! Sent shivers down my spine–very intriguing and should pull readers in at once, I think. I can highly recommend Dark Angels–hugely gripping and atmospheric & one of best YA books I read last year. Loved the music on this trailer, btw.

I want to find out more. It’s all so intriguing and darkly mysterious. What a surprising difference between the UK and US covers. The UK cover is the one that appeals to me and reflects the video (but I never liked the children’s UK Harry Potter covers, so my opinion is questionable!).

Enigmatic trailer. I just ordered Dark Angels and The Shadow Hunt for Andre and Ben, my 8 and 10 year old boys.
